Carrie Underwood Celebrates 10 Years As An Opry Member

Country superstar Carrie Underwood returned to Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee on Friday night (May 11th) to celebrate her 10-year anniversary since she became a member of the legendary concert hall.

The "Cry Pretty" sing performed her new single, as well as hits like "Jesus, Take the Wheel", "Temporary Home" and Randy Travis' "An Old Pair of Shoes". Though Underwood was inducted into the Opry family on May 10, 2008 by Garth Brooks, it was Travis who surprised her with a membership invitation two months earlier.

"10 year anniversary #OprySelfie @opry ❤️❤️❤️," Underwood captioned her selfie, before reflecting on the incredible night. "Thank you, #RandyTravis for always being so sweet to me! Thanks, @garthbrooks for the flowers! Thanks @bradpaisley #CrystalGayle @vincegillofficial and @reba for the kind words and messages!" she wrote. "A special thanks to my Opry family and all the people on my team for the wonderful surprises!"

"Thank you, fans, for all the love and support you have always given and continue to give. And, last, but not least, thank you to the Bologna Lady and my @umgnashville family for being here to celebrate!!!" Underwood concluded. "My heart is full."
