Carrie Underwood Gets Honored With Hero Award At 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards



It was a full circle moment for Carrie Underwood at the 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Friday, June 22nd, where she was presented the Hero Award by Randy Jackson on the same stage that she was crowned the winner of the fourth season of 'American Idol'. Carrie Underwood & Ludacris Teams Up For First 'The Champion' Performance At 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards



Country superstar Carrie Underwood teamed up with fellow Grammy winner Ludacris for the first performance of their collaboration "The Champion", at the 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Friday, June 22nd.

'American Idol' winners Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson were all about smiles and love at the 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards at the Dolby Theatre on Friday, June 22nd.

Underwood, who was crowned season 4 champion in 2005, was dressed in a black dress with kiss mark designs while Clarkson, who won the inaugural season of the show in 2002, showed off her recent weight loss in a blue fringe dress by Balmain.

Underwood was there to receive the Hero Award, while Clarkson received the Icon Award.

Earlier this month (June 6th to be exact), Carrie Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher turned the 2018 CMT Music Awards into date night as they made their first red carpet appearance together since her accident in the fall, which resulted in the 7x-Grammy winner suffering a broken wrist and more than 40 stitches to her face.



The 35-year-old mom, who held the title of most CMT Music Award wins with 17 before the show started, added one to her total (extending to 18 wins) when she took home the buckle for Female Video of the Year ("The Champion" featuring Ludacris).



She also hit the stage for another beautiful performance of her single "Cry Pretty", the lead single and title track from her forthcoming sixth album, available on September 14th.
